Class: Yin
A slow, meditative, and deeply opening practice, with emphasis on the breath.resulting in more flexibility, greater health (flushing the meridians), and softening of contracted muscles (like an internal massage). Poses are practiced on the floor mainly in seated or prone positions and held for 3-6 minutes to heal and restore deep layers of muscular fascia. Practicing Yin yoga promotes stress relief with focus on the breath, reduces pain in the body, better sleep, and positive effects on the immune system.
