Emily’s yoga journey started in 2009, when she found relief from back/neck pain through the physical practice. Her practice remained completely homebased, until she attended a Buti Yoga class in 2014. After that experience, she realized Yoga is much more than postures. Wanting to dive deeper, she decided to attend a Buti Yoga certification later that year, followed by a 200 hour yoga teacher training, for vinyasa in 2015. As of 2018, she is a Buti Yoga Master Trainer and remains hungry for knowledge. With her fun-loving energy, she creates a supportive environment, allowing each student the opportunity to blossom in their own way on their personal journey.
*Buti is geared mainly towards women, but is all-inclusive, and does not discriminate on age, sex, or body type. Come as you are, and wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Having a pre-existing knowledge of yoga poses is helpful, but not necessary. Participants should be aware that this is a physically strenuous practice, and that no props are used. Please remember to come hydrated and bring water.
