Class: Cardio and Strength Fitness Training (All levels)

This weekly fitness training program is designed by Carlos (Certified Fitness Trainer) to help you reach your optimal physical and emotional health. This series will support your regular yoga and fitness routines and help you create a sustainable practice and healthy lifestyle. This training program follows the same components of exercise recommended by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM), and the National Institute on Aging (NIA): Cardiovascular – Strength and Endurance – Balance – Flexibility – Mind/Body. It doesn’t matter your age or current fitness level: the teachers offer modifications for each of the most challenging exercises, so the student can adapt to his/her own fitness capacity and gradually advance to an optimal level. There are weekly handouts and discussions on proper technique, anatomy and physiology of exercise, elements of fitness, benefits of exercise, and more. Our Fitness program will help you boost your energy levels, improve your cardiovascular health, strength, balance and coordination; tone your abdominal, upper and lower body muscles; relieve stress, and burn-off extra calories. Better yet, this class is so much fun you won’t even realize you are exercising!
