For those ready to embrace their potential in practice and teaching, this training will give you:

  • Deeper knowledge of anatomy and physiology and how its functioning is influenced by to tools and techniques of yoga
  • Clear grasp on yoga philosophy and psychology with a special focus on health and healing
  • Useful understanding of Ayurveda
  • Tools to create intelligent and effective sequences for small groups and public classes
  • Skills to evaluate the specific needs of an individual and design a program to meet those needs
  • Broad views of Yoga therapy research and awareness of how yoga therapy can combine with conventional medical treatments to integrate and overcome common health challenges such as Cardiovascular disease, immune system disorders, cancer, respiratory conditions, depression and anxiety.
  • Means to establish and develop a private and public yoga practice and become professional in this field

  • Breath and Pranayama
  • Anatomy in motion
  • Safe and effective alignment
  • Sequencing strategies
  • Interface of the system of the body
  • Postural assessment and evaluation techniques
  • Marketing and business techniques
  • Application of Ayurveda
  • Ethics of working with private clients, small groups and public classes
  • Yoga therapy for individual needs and specific health conditions
  • Trauma informed care
  • Meditation and energetics
  • Supporting yourself as a yoga teacher


You must be a 200-hour Yoga Teacher to receive the 300-hr certification from Ashland Hot Yoga. Completion of this entire training will qualify you to receive your 500-hour Advanced Certification through Yoga Alliance.


Training Cost $3850 if paid in full by April 10th.

There will be 7 day intensives (early morning practices) TBA (hours will be 6-8am or 5-7am depending on group availability and work)

Expect daily hours to change depending on guest teacher and logistics. Most weekends meetings will be Friday (4-8 pm), Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 6:30 pm.
The exact schedule will be adjusted to the teacher’s assessment of the group’s needs, and announced prior to each module.
