Yoga Immersion
The Immersion is a 100-hour journey into the heart of Anusara Yoga, appropriate for students of all levels who desire to deepen their commitment and understanding of this profound practice, or who wish to dive deeper into their own body, mind and spirit through the practices of yoga. It is also the essential prerequisite for the Anusara Yoga Teacher Training, preparing students with a firm foundation in alignment, practice, and philosophy from which to skillfully share with others.
This Course covers:
- Universal Principles of Alignment TM
- Deepening Your Asana practice
- Basic Anatomy for Yoga
- Esoteric Anatomy (chakras, nadis, etc.)
- Ayurveda Basics
- Yoga Philosophy with emphasis on Tantra
- Pranayama Practices
- Meditation and Contemplation
Prerequisites:
The Immersion is open to anyone who has practiced at least 30 hours of Anusara yoga and has practiced yoga (of any style) for at least one year.
From one of Robyn's past Immersion students:
"The Immersion was a life changing experience for me. I expected that my yoga practice would expand dramatically and it did, but off the mat and in my life I find myself more centered, peaceful and intentional in my purpose, which has brought more spirituality, gratitude and playfulness to my life. In short, I just find life more pleasurable now. Perhaps the biggest blessing of the Immersion was sharing the experience with a beautiful community of yogis in the company of our gifted teacher, Robyn. "
